 - Material elegance and innovation: XLine wins the ADI Design Award

From the 2025 edition of Cersaie, held at BolognaFiere from 22 to 26 September, ITLAS Società Benefit returns with a prestigious accolade that, since 2014, has been awarded to the best products distinguished by innovation, design quality, sustainability, and communicative value: the ADI Ceramic & Bathroom Design Award. The prize was given to l’ESSENZIALE XLINE, the latest creation of the Progetto Bagno collection, conceived by the ITLAS Studio and unveiled for the first time at the Bologna event.

According to the jury, it is “a wooden texture that reinterprets the concept of surface with material elegance and genuine naturalness”, and “an ideal bridge between craftsmanship and industrial innovation”, in which “the furniture surfaces interact seamlessly with the surrounding wall coverings, creating a mimetic effect and a harmonious integration between the elements”.

The award ceremony took place on the afternoon of 24 September at The Square. Alongside ITLAS, other bathroom sector winners included Mamoli with Serie Marc and Ardeco by Artesi with Loop. In the ceramics category, prizes went to Gigacer with Dune, Coem with Milano Sublime, and Ceramiche Refin with Ink. The expert jury also gave a special mention to Ceramiche Atlas Concorde for Tratto.

Within the same context, the ADI Booth Design Award was also presented – a prize that, since 2019, has recognised the best exhibition stands at the fair. This year’s winners were Cimento, Gruppo Bardelli, and 41Zero42, with a special mention to Co Rubinetterie.

Curated by ADI Emilia-Romagna, the award – which highlights products and displays that best embody the material and aesthetic quality of the proposals presented during the fair – serves as a key step towards inclusion in the ADI Design Index, the official preselection route for the Compasso d’Oro Award, the most prestigious recognition of Italian design worldwide.
