The MED Directive 2014/90/EU (with its subsequent amendments) aims to standardize the conformity of equipment intended for passenger and cargo ships at the European level. The products are tested by verifying their reaction to fire and analyzing the toxicity and opacity of the fumes, ensuring compliance with the parameters imposed by the applicable regulations and the protection of those who come into contact with them and the marine environment. Itlas obtained the "CE Certificate of Production Quality Assurance (Module D)" on 29/07/2024. Together with the "CE Type Certificate" (Module B), it allows the marketing of products with the distinctive "Steering Wheel" marking.
