French label

From 1° January 2012 the products manufactured, decorated and the supplies exported to France, for the first time needs to be classified and labeled with the French Label. From 1° September 2013 the new regulation is applied also to products which already are present within French territory. It’s a labeling, in addition to the CE one, that allows customers to have a clearer information and that establish a new selection criteria. Classes goes from A+ to C and they are measured following the results of product’s analysis, through which it’s investigated the presence of ten substances: formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, toluene, tetrachloroethylene, xylene, trimethylbenzene, diclorobenezene, Ethylbenzene, butoxietanolo. The sum of this ten substances represent the TVOC (Total of Volatile Orgainic Substances).
